The Current Clicker Challenge

Challenge #8 - Teaching Object Recognition to your Dog: Naming Objects with clicker training

In this Challenge you'll be teaching the dog to recognise different objects by verbal cue.

This will not be an easy challenge, alot of patience and deep breathing will likely be required. Take your time and don't rush it and shout out for help if you get stuck.

The objects you choose to use will be up to you, they should look different to one another and have very different names, this will assist the dog in its' learning process.

Technical Winner of this Challenge will submit a video that shows:
- The dog clearly understands the verbal cue between 2 different objects and will target that object with whatever body part or pick it up.

If more than one submitted video shows the above then extra points should be allocated to the dog who:

- Shows enthusiasm
- Shows speed
- Can recognise objects at greater distances or with obstacles
- Can recognise more than 2 objects

The Encouragement Award Winner of this Challenge should be voted on in the below manner:
- A dog that isn't technically the best however shows all the hallmarks of a dog that is going to be a contender soon.

- They may have made great leaps in their achievement since their last submitted video.
- They may have a novice clicker training Owner that is still learning and refining their skills however are doing great as a team considering.
- They are at an impressive stage for their age/disability.
